After a long journey home, we arrived in Calgary only to find a mob of demonstrators protesting our arrival back in Canada.In order to escape the media scrutiny, we fled to the isolated and beautiful Emerald Lake Lodge with Damo's family.
It was a lovely way to reclimatize to the cold--if one needs to get used to the Canadian winter again, it might as well be in such a gorgoeous fairytale setting, instead of in the dirty snow of the city!
