how fun is this? it's outdated, more or less, where we were--only a select few phrases would be commonly used--but i hope there's a revival. kooky language like this can't be allowed to die!

Our Welcome Back to Alberta

After a long journey home, we arrived in Calgary only to find a mob of demonstrators protesting our arrival back in Canada.



In order to escape the media scrutiny, we fled to the isolated and beautiful Emerald Lake Lodge with Damo's family.














It was a lovely way to reclimatize to the cold--if one needs to get used to the Canadian winter again, it might as well be in such a gorgoeous fairytale setting, instead of in the dirty snow of the city!
